Write Now!

I’ve set the first three dates for Write Now! in 2015–January 6, February 3 and March 3. If you live in or near San Francisco, I hope you’ll join me. This monthly free-writing adventure is all about getting words on the page … happily, freely, without judgment or inhibition. I provide prompts from lots of intriguing sources to help channel the muse … and I promise  you’ll always walk out the door with more words on the page than when you came in.

All genres and levels of writing experience are welcome. So pull up a chair, bring your favorite notebook and pen and give it a try.

Here are the vitals:

  • Write Now! is held from  7-8:30 p.m. at Folio Books.
  • To keep things cozy, I have eight participants maximum at each jam.
  • A donation of $5 reserves your spot at the table. Funds go to support Children’s Book Project, a San Francisco non-profit that helps build literacy by providing books to children who need them.
  • Advance sign-up required at Eventbrite.
  • Got questions? Email me.

I look forward to writing with you in 2015!

When it comes to writing, are pen and paper mightier than the computer? Read what one of the participants of Write Now! has to say on the subject.

The last Write Now! of 2014 is on November 4. If you’re interested in putting pen to paper, email me for details.
